Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Spenda (ranked 4910 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Farm (ranked 4759 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eddie Spenda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jake Farm!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farm gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
enabling Spenda to counter with a crisp jab.

Farm dives in and scores a takedown into Spenda's guard.
Farm missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Spenda keeping moving, preventing Farm from controlling successfully.
Farm pushes down on Spenda's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Farm is looking to take a break and control but Spenda is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Spenda wants to improve his position but Farm is controlling well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Spenda is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Farm is pressing down on Spenda's thigh, looking to free his foot. Spenda is holding on for now.

Farm stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Farm tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Spenda manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Jake Farm seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Spenda moves into range and connects with a jab.
Farm shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Spenda sprawls well. Spenda wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Farm gets slowly back to his feet.

Farm manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Spenda on his heels. He'll look to pass Spenda's guard now, I'm sure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Farm is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Spenda can't keep his opponent in guard - Farm advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Farm connects with a nice short shot to Spenda's temple.

and Spenda counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Spenda avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Farm shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Jake Farm dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Farm closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Spenda throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Farm goes for a takedown in the clinch but Spenda prevents it.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Spenda.
Spenda is pressed up against the cage. Farm has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Spenda down to the mat. Spenda avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Farm takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Farm is trying to control the action in half guard but Spenda is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Farm decides to return to a standing position.
Eddie Spenda is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Farm closes the distance and clinches.
Spenda wants to break free but Farm has control.
Farm throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Spenda blocks it with crossed arms.
A head punch on the inside from Spenda fails to land.
Farm has Spenda pushed against the cage.
Spenda misses with a short punch on the inside.
Farm jumps guard but Spenda stands there with Farm around his waist. Farm gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Eddie Spenda has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Farm.

Farm tries to pull guard but Spenda forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Spenda tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Spenda misses with the head strike.
Spenda lands a nice uppercut.

Farm breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Spenda cracks a nice hook into Farm's ribs.

Farm gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Spenda fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Farm will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Spenda up against the cage.
Spenda blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Spenda stops a takedown attempt from Farm.
Spenda lands with a light punch inside.

Farm breaks from the clinch.
Farm wants to clinch
and Spenda counters with a right hand to the body.
Farm closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Jake Farm is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

enabling Spenda to counter with a crisp jab.

and Spenda counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Spenda is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Farm takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Spenda clobbers Farm with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Farm tries to clinch but Spenda moves out of range.

and Spenda counters with a left to the body.
Spenda checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Farm shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
enabling Spenda to counter with a crisp jab.
Farm shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

and Farm decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Spenda's guard.

Spenda is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Farm is breathing heavily.
Spenda blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Farm blocks an uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Farm takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Farm throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Farm walks into a straight right hand from Spenda.

Farm uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Spenda.
Farm swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Spenda was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Spenda scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Spenda lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
A punch lands to the side of Farm 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Eddie Spenda is winning the standup battle so far.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Spenda goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
