The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Horne drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Laukkanen kicks Horne off and gets to his feet.

Laukkanen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Horne manages to get himself to full guard.

Horne tries to counter with a takedown but Laukkanen is quick to defend against it.
Laukkanen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Horne as he jumps to the side.

Horne fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Laukkanen to the ground. Horne is now in Laukkanen's guard.

Horne has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Laukkanen off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
