The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hippobody uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kinnunen.
Hippobody appears to be looking for a big counter.
Kinnunen throws a hook to the side of Hippobody's head but Hippobody sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hippobody lands a right hook to the body.
Hippobody throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kinnunen counters with a series of strikes. Hippobody will be more careful next time no doubt.
Kimmo Kinnunen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kinnunen throws a hook to the side of Hippobody's head but Hippobody sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A little feinted left hand from Hippobody on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Kinnunen misses with an uppercut.
Kinnunen connects with a body shot that sends Hippobody's belly button to the back.

and Hippobody counters with a nice right hand that sends Kinnunen toppling to the canvas! Kinnunen scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Hippobody finish him?!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
