Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Kamden Jackson (ranked 2151 p4p, 245 weight class) and Jabbar Omarov (ranked 2901 p4p, 323 weight class). Jackson's entrance music is Creed II- Eye of the Tiger. A fine choice. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 20 wins and 12 losses; Kamden Jackson! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 5 losses; Jabbar Omarov!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Omarov swats away the attempt to clinch by Jackson.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Omarov swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Omarov changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Jackson tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Omarov manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Omarov moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Omarov wants to sweep but no luck.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jackson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jackson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Jackson wants to control from the top but Omarov keeps moving.
Jackson is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Omarov is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Jackson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Omarov is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jackson defends well.
