Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clinch King Smash Machine (ranked 3422 p4p, 377 weight class) and Tri Quang Van (ranked 5961 p4p, 517 weight class). Quang Van has chosen Broken Dreams - D.Mcintyre as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Clinch King Smash Machine has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smash Machine tries to clinch there but Quang Van circles away.
Smash Machine scores with a hook.
Quang Van should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Horrible takedown attempt by Smash Machine or perhaps it was just good defense by Quang Van, which made it look bad.
Quang Van tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Quang Van tries to keep at a distance but Smash Machine has taken the fight into the clinch.
Quang Van takes a knee right on the jaw!

It looks like Tri Quang Van has been cut.
Smash Machine unloads a knee to the mid-section. Quang Van lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Smash Machine lands a vicious elbow to the side of Quang Van's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Smash Machine tries to finish him with strikes but Quang Van still seems able to defend himself so Smash Machine steps back and lets Quang Van get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.

Quang Van is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Quang Van is still on wobbly legs! Can Smash Machine finish him?
Smash Machine creates some distance and fires off a vicious elbow that drops Quang Van! He pounces and finishes the fight with more strikes! Nice KO for Smash Machine.
