The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mckleskin fails with an attempt to clinch.
Quang Van drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Mckleskin defends it well.
Mckleskin misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Quang Van closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Mckleskin quickly recovers to half guard.
Mckleskin regains full guard. Nicely done.
Mckleskin wants to stand up but Quang Van is controlling him.

Quang Van drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Mckleskin dives on top into guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Quang Van can do anything to dispel that myth.

Mckleskin trying to control the position from guard on top but Quang Van is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mckleskin passes Quang Van's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Mckleskin wants to control but Quang Van is keeping him busy.
Quang Van is in trouble now - Mckleskin has advanced to mount!
Quang Van is trying desperately to improve position.
Quang Van is trying to reverse the position but instead Mckleskin has taken his back - oops!

Mckleskin has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Quang Van is defending well but eventually Mckleskin manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Quang Van has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
