Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Reaves (ranked 4123 p4p, 350 weight class) and Matus Sestak (ranked 4162 p4p, 354 weight class). Ryan Reaves has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Reaves!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Matus Sestak!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Chris Saunders and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reaves has managed to clinch.
Reaves taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Reaves drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Sestak gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Reaves ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Reaves no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sestak is pushing down on Reaves's leg trying to pass to half guard. Reaves is fighting to maintain full guard but Sestak has managed to sneak the leg through.
Reaves is looking for a sweep. Sestak is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Sestak is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Reaves!
Reaves is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Sestak not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Reaves regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Sestak.
Sestak trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Sestak passes into half guard under a barage of strikes.

Sestak is looking for a kimura but Reaves is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sestak to get the leverage.

Sestak looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Reaves has picked Sestak up and slammed him! Sestak can't keep hold of the triangle and Reaves manages to pass to side control!

Ryan Reaves is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Reaves tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sestak sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Reaves somewhat.

Reaves doesn't manage to clinch there - Sestak circles away.
And Sestak tries to counter it with a takedown but Reaves pushes his down on his head and steps out.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ryan Reaves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matus Sestak.
