Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kristaps Zutis (ranked 4412 p4p, 424 weight class) and Sabotage Rex (ranked 4071 p4p, 409 weight class). Rex has chosen Motley Crue - Girlsx3 as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kristaps Zutis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sabotage Rex!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zutis stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Rex.
Rex connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Zutis sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Rex lands with a right hand.
It looks like Kristaps Zutis has been cut.
Rex thuds his shin into the meat of Zutis's side.
Rex keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Rex.
Rex has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Zutis is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Zutis shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Rex counters with a nice right hand that sends Zutis toppling to the canvas! Zutis scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Rex finish him?!
Zutis is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rex lands a nice shot to the body.
Zutis is breathing heavily.
Zutis fails with the takedown
and Rex counters with a huge right that knocks Zutis out cold! Rex is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sabotage Rex!
A less than humble Sabotage Rex misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
