The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

DeVell has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Khalidov has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Khalidov holds on and takes a little breather.

DeVell has gone for a leg lock! Khalidov slips out almost immediately though and dives into DeVell's guard.

DeVell fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Khalidov looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Khalidov pivots, looking for a leg kick but DeVell is out of range and Khalidov settles back down.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Khalidov is landing with some decent strikes but DeVell is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

DeVell tries to bum rush Khalidov with a series of wild strikes but Khalidov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

That was a close second round but I would say that Trey DeVell will probably get the nod.
