The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silver lands a lovely overhand right.
Matt Silver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silver rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McFly moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
McFly tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Silver swivels and escapes.

Silver gets a clinch.
McFly makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

It looks like Matt Silver has been cut.

McFly throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
McFly is breathing heavily.

McFly fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Silver missing with a left hand there. McFly was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

No joy there for Silver, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McFly blocks a head kick by Silver.
Silver should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
McFly has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from McFly there as he acknowledges the shot.
Matt Silver is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Silver stalks McFly and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into McFly's face. McFly staggers backwards, shaken.

McFly shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Silver as he avoids it easily.

McFly takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Silver lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - McFly can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Silver and McFly drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Silver.
