Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yoshi Fujiwara (ranked 209 p4p, 34 weight class) and Finnish Experiment lV (ranked 185 p4p, 29 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Finnish Experiment lV!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Hirohito Nitta and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fujiwara half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

and Fujiwara counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Experiment lV felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Fujiwara wants to lay and pray for a moment but Experiment lV keeps working.
Fujiwara lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Experiment lV is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fujiwara defends well.

Experiment lV working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fujiwara doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Experiment lV is tightening it up a little... Fujiwara has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Fujiwara reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Fujiwara taps out! Nice BJJ there by Experiment lV!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Finnish Experiment lV!
Finnish Experiment lV opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
