Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Arthur Peterson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryder Mann!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peterson defending well as Mann loads up on a big left hand.

Mann tries to sprawl but Peterson drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Peterson tries to stand but can't do so whilst Mann controls his leg.
Peterson trying to mount his opponent but Mann defends it.
Peterson seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Mann moves into full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Peterson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Peterson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Mann working for a triangle but Peterson defends it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mann has a closed guard, preventing Peterson from standing up.

Mann has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Peterson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Peterson tries to stand but Mann is controlling from the bottom.

Mann is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Peterson is aware though and is defending well.
Mann controls Peterson momentarily but Peterson frees himself.
Peterson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Mann looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Mann is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Peterson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Mann, up you get!

Peterson ducks under a wild hook from Mann.
Peterson checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Mann avoids the head kick by Peterson.
Mann flicks out a counter leg kick but Peterson steps away.
Peterson checks the leg kick nicely there.
Mann slips a jab and a cross from Peterson.
Mann is looking to clinch.

and Peterson counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Mann fails in his attempt to clinch.
Peterson swats away the attempt to clinch by Mann.
Mann slips a jab and a cross from Peterson.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A nice inside leg kick there by Mann. That's going to slow Peterson down.
Mann throws a push kick but Peterson slaps the foot to one side.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Peterson gets a double leg takedown into Mann's guard.
Peterson wants to stand but Mann has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Mann escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Peterson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Mann looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Peterson is defending well. Mann quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Peterson has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Mann celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ryder Mann!
Ryder Mann seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
