Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Two!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Johnson showed some decent athleticism there.
Two is looking to escape.

Johnson seems to be looking for submissions.
Johnson trying to advance position but Two counters by regaining guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Two trying to keep a closed guard but Johnson is proving a slippery customer.
Johnson tries to free his leg and advance position but Two is retaining full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Johnson is pushing down on Two's leg trying to pass to half guard. Two is fighting to maintain full guard but Johnson has managed to sneak the leg through.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Two can do anything to dispel that myth.
Two is looking to control Johnson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Two avoid being mounted?
Johnson passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Two!

Johnson looking for a guillotine from mount but Two is having none of it.
Two is looking to improve his position but Johnson isn't that keen on the idea.

Johnson wants to finish this one by submission but Two is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Johnson.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Two tries to hold on but Johnson pushes him away.

Johnson moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Two has worked his arm free - good work by Two!
Two is trying to buck Johnson off.

Johnson goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Two rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Johnson's guard! Nice work there by Two!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Johnson looking for a sweep. Not yet Johnson, not yet.
Two passes Johnson's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Two is keen to just control but Johnson is a slippery customer.
Johnson wants to get back to full guard.
Johnson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Johnson.
Johnson is breathing heavily.

Two forces his way into half guard.
Two controlling the pace.
Johnson is looking to escape.
Two is trying to control the action in half guard but Johnson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Johnson tries to get to full guard but Two has control of the leg.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Johnson wants to improve his position but Two is controlling well.
Johnson moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Two lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Johnson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Johnson keeping moving, preventing Two from controlling successfully.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Two won't allow Johnson to sweep him here.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Two shoots in but no luck this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Daniel Johnson dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Two has Johnson up against the cage in a clinch.

Johnson works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Johnson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Two swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Johnson is working hard here to advance position.

Johnson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Johnson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Two can do to turn this around?

Johnson wants to hit a switch here but Two passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Johnson there!

Two working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Johnson is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Two has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Johnson taps out!
