Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tim McGee (ranked 6019 p4p, 484 weight class) and Javor Mitokoshiak (ranked 7235 p4p, 520 weight class). Mitokoshiak has chosen Go To Sleep - Eminem as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Tim McGee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Javor Mitokoshiak!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Jonathan Paton and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGee darts in looking for a takedown but Mitokoshiak gets double underhooks and turns McGee into the cage.
McGee shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mitokoshiak as he avoids it easily.

McGee clinches up with Mitokoshiak and pushes him back against the cage.

Mitokoshiak gets control of McGee's arms and successfully pulls guard. Mitokoshiak will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
McGee trying to control but Mitokoshiak is working from the bottom.
Mitokoshiak wants to sweep here but McGee controlling him for the moment.
Mitokoshiak is still trying to improve position.
Mitokoshiak keeping moving, preventing McGee from controlling successfully.
Mitokoshiak really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McGee. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mitokoshiak pushes McGee off looking to stand but McGee dives back in and keeps control.
Mitokoshiak wants to improve his position but McGee is controlling well.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

McGee is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Mitokoshiak knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Mitokoshiak for a finish.

Mitokoshiak is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if McGee gets his way!

McGee is persistently looking for the submission but Mitokoshiak is defending it well.

You can see the frustration on Mitokoshiak's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

McGee has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.

McGee postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Mitokoshiak takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Mitokoshiak is not content to let McGee control the position.

McGee is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Mitokoshiak has escaped the position, nice work there.
Mitokoshiak tries to escape but McGee is in control.
McGee is looking to take a break and control but Mitokoshiak is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

McGee is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mitokoshiak can do to turn this around?

McGee is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Mitokoshiak to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Mitokoshiak shrugs it off.
McGee wants to control the pace but Mitokoshiak is squirming around nicely.
McGee has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
McGee thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Mitokoshiak tries to buck McGee off but he can't manage it.
Mitokoshiak is squirming around, avoiding McGee's attempts to control the action.
McGee throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

McGee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mitokoshiak was well out of range. Poor timing from McGee.

and Mitokoshiak holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Mitokoshiak throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
McGee tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mitokoshiak smiles and moves away.

Mitokoshiak closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into McGee's guard.

McGee postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

McGee thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Mitokoshiak is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Mitokoshiak comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
