Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Primo Volto (ranked 6667 p4p, 548 weight class) and Pavle Korchagin (ranked 7156 p4p, 563 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Volto closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Korchagin to the mat! Korchagin manages to get full guard.

Korchagin manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Volto on his heels. He'll look to pass Volto's guard now, I'm sure.

Korchagin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Korchagin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Volto seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Korchagin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Volto. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
