Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rory Sandoval (ranked 24980 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Price (ranked 4731 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Rory Sandoval!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Nick Price!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Steven Brown and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Price.

Price clinches up against the cage.
Sandoval has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Price avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Price successfully pulls guard.

Sandoval avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Sandoval preventing the sweep.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sandoval is fighting to break Price's control of his arms but Price is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Sandoval trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Price is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Sandoval postures up in Price's guard and throws a big left but Price blocks it.

Price controls Sandoval momentarily but Sandoval frees himself.

Price working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sandoval doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sandoval manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

and Price counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Some wild striking there from Price.

Price has taken the fight to the clinch.
Sandoval drops down looking for an ankle pick but Price pulls his leg out and moves away.
Price pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sandoval feinted with a counter takedown.

Price rushes Sandoval and presses him up against the cage.
Price tries for a takedown. No joy.

Sandoval gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Price wants to stand back up but Sandoval manages to pass into side control.
Sandoval throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Price is looking to reverse the position.
Price is trying to buck Sandoval off.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Price looking for a sweep but Sandoval has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Price looks winded!
Price takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Sandoval working for a guillotine from mount but Price is in no mood to give up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Price avoids a series of strikes thrown by Sandoval.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Price defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Sandoval.
Sandoval thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

That was a close round but I would say that Rory Sandoval will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Sandoval is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Price pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Sandoval pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Price throws a left and a right that both miss
and Sandoval counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Nick Price is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Price is breathing heavily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Sandoval.

Price closes the distance and pushes Sandoval back into the cage.

Price ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Price no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Price is trying to keep Sandoval in close.
Sandoval throws a big right hand that misses.

Price looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Sandoval has picked Price up and slammed him! Price can't keep hold of the triangle and Sandoval manages to pass to side control!
Price tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sandoval wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Sandoval tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Sandoval is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Price is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Sandoval tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sandoval has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Sandoval working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Sandoval thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Price drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Sandoval jumps guard but Price stands there with Sandoval around his waist. Sandoval gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Rory Sandoval has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick Price.

Sandoval has Price pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Sandoval pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Price tumbling to the mat - Sandoval dives into Price's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nick Price comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Sandoval has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
