Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Growdy avoids the head kick by Robinson.
Alan Robinson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Robinson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Robinson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Growdy, pushing him back against the cage.
Robinson prevents Growdy from breaking the clinch.
Growdy has had enough of the clinch but Robinson keeps him there for the moment.

Growdy has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Growdy doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Robinson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Robinson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Robinson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Growdy takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Robinson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Robinson is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Growdy's shoulder. That is not cool.
Robinson working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Robinson throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Growdy pushes Robinson away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Robinson gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Robinson decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Growdy gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Robinson stands up and waves to Growdy to follow him.
Robinson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Robinson thows a huge punch but Growdy dodges it nicely.
Growdy keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Robinson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Robinson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Growdy with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Robinson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Robinson is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Growdy wants to get back to his feet.

Robinson decides to stand up.
Demetrious Growdy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Robinson. Growdy shrugs it off though.
Growdy avoids the head kick by Robinson.
Growdy throws out a counter right but Robinson avoids it with no problem.
Robinson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Growdy sprawls well initially but Robinson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Robinson is keen to just control but Growdy is a slippery customer.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Robinson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Growdy looks winded!
Growdy tries to kick Robinson off in order to stand up. Robinson Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

An elbow from Robinson crashes against the mat.
Robinson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Growdy keeps working.
Robinson creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Robinson decides to stand back up. Robinson steps back and let's Growdy get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Robinson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Robinson rushes Growdy and presses him up against the cage.
Robinson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Growdy defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Robinson.
As Robinson backs off Growdy throws a huge counter combo but Robinson manages to avoid it all.
Growdy misses with a head kick.
Robinson closes the distance and clinches.
Robinson is trying to drag Growdy to the mat but Growdy just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Robinson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alan Robinson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The fight stays on the outside here - Growdy looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Growdy throws a series of punches but Robinson avoids them all with ease.

Growdy drops Robinson with a beautiful combination! Robinson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Growdy is looking for the KO!

Growdy throws an uppercut from hell that sends Robinson clean off his feet! He's out cold! Growdy stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
