Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sammy Beach (ranked 1074 p4p, 162 weight class) and Daana Wyte (ranked 2018 p4p, 268 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wyte ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Beach slips a straight right by Wyte.

It looks like Daana Wyte has been cut.
Beach scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Wyte doesn't seem bothered though.
Beach throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wyte stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Beach takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
We've been told by Beach's head coaches at Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Beach cracks a nice hook into Wyte's ribs.

Beach is looking to wear down Wyte with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Beach lands an elbow inside that Wyte shrugs off.
Wyte wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Beach breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Wyte's coach down at Power Plant MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Wyte's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Beach changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Beach scores with the left hand. Wyte knows he should have avoided that one.
Wyte throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Beach sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Beach throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wyte takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

That has opened up Daana Wyte's cut even more.
Beach cracks Wyte with a hook to the temple - Wyte is on wobbly legs here! Beach swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Wyte falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Beach wins by TKO!
