The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres looks to score with a jab to the body but Walsh is just out of range.
Uadab Torres seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Walsh takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Torres gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Torres wants to break free but Walsh has control.
A hook to the body from Torres.
Torres tries to throw a body punch but Walsh avoids it by throwing Torres back against the cage.
Torres lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Torres displaying some good clinch control by pressing Walsh up against the cage.
A right hand to the body from Torres.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Torres has had enough of the clinch but Walsh keeps him there for the moment.
Torres working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Torres doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Torres tries to throw a body punch but Walsh avoids it by throwing Torres back against the cage.

Torres goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Walsh tries to pull guard but Torres won't allow it.
Torres misses with a punch to the body.
Walsh has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Torres is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Torres tries to work over Walsh's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Torres lands with a light punch inside.
Walsh fails to pull guard.

Walsh prevents a body shot from Torres.
Walsh is looking for a takedown.

Nice body punch from Torres - that landed with a thud.
Walsh jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Torres walks away with a smile on his face. Walsh gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Walsh is breathing heavily.

Oooooh!!! Torres has knocked Walsh down with a huge combo! Torres steps away and waves a wobbly Walsh back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Walsh is rocked!

It looks like Matty Walsh has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Torres moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Oh Walsh is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Torres pounces like a tiger and cracks Walsh with a vicious hook! Walsh is down but not out! Torres follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
