Faessi has chosen Fight The Power as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Tome Faessi acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faessi stuffs the takedown.

Faessi closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Grimes quickly recovers to half guard.

Faessi is trying to work for a kimura but Grimes is defending well.
Faessi lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Grimes keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Faessi is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Grimes sees it coming and defends easily.
