The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Achamian misses.
Achamian doesn't manage to clinch there - Carpathia circles away.
Carpathia works over Achamian's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Amadeus Achamian has been cut.
Nicolae Carpathia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Achamian shoots in for a takedown but Carpathia shows good takedown defense.

Carpathia pushes Achamian up against the cage in a clinch.
Achamian is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Achamian can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Amadeus Achamian. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Carpathia lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Achamian backwards.

Carpathia gets caught flat footed, as Achamian shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Achamian drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Achamian seems to have locked his on tight now - Carpathia screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Achamian, as he picks up the win!
