Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Amirah Radhakrishnan (ranked 3042 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alberto Moreno (ranked 3875 p4p, 0 weight class). Alberto Moreno told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Amirah Radhakrishnan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alberto Moreno!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Joseph Jones and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moreno drops Radhakrishnan with a left and a right! Oh, Radhakrishnan is hurt - Moreno dives into side control looking to finish!
Radhakrishnan is rocked!
It looks like Amirah Radhakrishnan has been cut.
Moreno stands up and beckons Radhakrishnan to his feet.
Oh Radhakrishnan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Radhakrishnan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Alberto Moreno seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Radhakrishnan shoots in for a takedown but Moreno shows good takedown defense.
Radhakrishnan rushes Moreno and presses him up against the cage.
Radhakrishnan seems to have got his legs back now.

Radhakrishnan landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Moreno can't break the clinch.
Radhakrishnan is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Amirah Radhakrishnan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Radhakrishnan breaks from the clinch.
Radhakrishnan throws a head kick but Moreno moves out of range.
Moreno tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Radhakrishnan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Moreno goes for a small jab and connects. Now Moreno goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Radhakrishnan stumbles back but Moreno runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Radhakrishnan to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Radhakrishnan will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Alberto Moreno!
