The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samuelsen moves out of range as Von Brawler strikes.
Samuelsen closes this distance looking for a takedown but Von Brawler circles away.

Samuelsen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Samuelsen shoots for a double leg takedown but Von Brawler sprawls well. He's pushed Samuelsen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Samuelsen, as that shot connected.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

enabling Samuelsen to counter with a crisp jab.

Samuelsen tries to free his leg and advance position but Von Brawler is retaining full guard.
Von Brawler can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Samuelsen controls the pace.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Samuelsen is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Samuelsen's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Von Brawler throws an overhand right that lands on Samuelsen's shoulder, as Samuelsen tries to avoid the shot.
Samuelsen lands a nice looking body shot.
Samuelsen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Samuelsen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Von Brawler stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Von Brawler doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Samuelsen throws a nice looking combination but Von Brawler bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Samuelsen lands a nice hook to Von Brawler's body. Von Brawler takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
