The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crixusi drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Crixusi seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Damie wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Crixusi is working to tighten his grip on Damie's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Damie has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Crixusi is really squeezing tight and eventually Damie passes out! Crixusi breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

After winning the bout, Dudicks Crixusi thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
