PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Voytek Mucha (ranked 24480 p4p, 0 weight class) and Testy Six (ranked 4733 p4p, 0 weight class). Testy Six told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Testy Six!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Anthony Taglia and Steve Montenegro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mucha throws a head kick that misses.
It seemed like Six was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Voytek Mucha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looks like Testy Six has been cut.

Six clinches up against the cage.

Six has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Mucha is trying to keep an underhook but Six manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Six takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Mucha kicks Six off and gets back to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Six counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Six.

Six has hold of one of Mucha's legs. Mucha is fighting the takedown attempt but Six gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Mucha knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Six on the ground.
Six is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Six lands a couple of elbows.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Six throws a big elbow that misses.
Six tries to free his leg and advance position but Mucha is retaining full guard.
Mucha will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Six passes Mucha's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Six seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Mucha is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
