Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Tommy Du Mahss!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Dean Styles and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Du Mahss throws a right and a left that Neves avoids nicely.
Neves changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Neves rushes Du Mahss and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Du Mahss has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Neves clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Du Mahss gets to his feet and calls for his opponent to stand and trade! Heeeere we go!
Neves uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Du Mahss.
Du Mahss lands with a shot to the body.
Du Mahss throws a lazy uppercut
and Neves counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.


It looks like Tommy Du Mahss has been cut.
Du Mahss lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Du Mahss throws an off balance right hand
and Neves counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Du Mahss throws a body shot but no joy.

Neves clinches up against the cage.

Neves ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Neves no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Neves looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Neves is working an open guard so Du Mahss takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Neves keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Neves rushes Du Mahss and presses him up against the cage.
Neves prevents Du Mahss from breaking the clinch.
Du Mahss working hard to break the clinch.

Neves jumps guard and drags Du Mahss to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Neves had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Du Mahss defends it easily.

Du Mahss stands up from Neves's guard - Du Mahss perhaps looking for a knockout.
Du Mahss lands a nice looking body shot.
Neves doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Neves takes one to the chin there.
Tommy Du Mahss is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Du Mahss looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Du Mahss is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Neves rather than just go for the knockout.
A jab lands there for Du Mahss.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Du Mahss turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Du Mahss manages to end up in side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Neves tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Du Mahss wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Du Mahss stands up.
Neves slips under a jab from Du Mahss.
Neves is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Du Mahss.
Tommy Du Mahss seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Neves throws a right hand that misses
and Du Mahss counters with a right hand to the body.

Du Mahss gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Neves to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Neves tries to free his leg and advance position but Du Mahss is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Neves pushes down on Du Mahss's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neves trying to mount his opponent but Du Mahss defends it.
Du Mahss tries to kick Neves off but Neves keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Neves trying to pass the guard but Du Mahss defending well.
Du Mahss is trying to stand.

Du Mahss manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Du Mahss swings and misses with a shot to the body

and Neves counters by moving into the clinch.
Neves scores with a shoulder strike.
Neves digs a right hand underneath Du Mahss's ribcage. Du Mahss let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Du Mahss looks winded!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neves lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Nice body punch from Neves.

Neves pulls Du Mahss into guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Neves looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Du Mahss got a little sloppy there for a moment and Neves has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Du Mahss has managed to get both his arms back between Neves's legs - danger averted.
Neves looking for a sweep. Not yet Neves, not yet.

Neves is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Du Mahss defends well.

Neves looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Neves has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Du Mahss can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Neves looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Du Mahss has picked Neves up and slammed him! Neves can't keep hold of the triangle and Du Mahss manages to pass to side control!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Tommy Du Mahss will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Tommy Du Mahss's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Du Mahss thuds a left hand into Neves's body.
Neves walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Du Mahss misses with a looping left.
Neves fails with a takedown attempt.
Du Mahss lands a nice shot to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Du Mahss tries to keep at a distance but Neves has taken the fight into the clinch.
Neves lands a body punch.

Neves gets control of Du Mahss's arms and successfully pulls guard. Neves will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Neves is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Du Mahss wanted to stand there but Neves had control of the position.

Neves is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Neves has his foot on Du Mahss's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Du Mahss works his way back into a safe position though.

Du Mahss decides to stand back up. Du Mahss steps back and let's Neves get back to his feet.

Neves rushes Du Mahss and presses him up against the cage.
Neves tries to throw a body punch but Du Mahss avoids it by throwing Neves back against the cage.
Du Mahss looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Neves pulls guard successfully.
Du Mahss trying to stand up but can't free himself from Neves's guard.

Du Mahss is sitting in close to Neves's body. Neves has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Du Mahss is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Du Mahss is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Neves.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Bruno Neves!
Bruno Neves decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
Tommy Du Mahss was interviewed post fight and said 'I HOPE YOU STUB YOUR PINKIE TOE AND FALL UP THE STAIRS!'.
