Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jumba Juramba (ranked 5203 p4p, 419 weight class) and Anthony Johnson (ranked 3700 p4p, 332 weight class). Johnson has chosen suge as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Juramba rushes Johnson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Johnson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Juramba just stands there and leans against the cage.

Juramba escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Johnson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Johnson working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Juramba wants to control but Johnson is having none of it.

Juramba shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Johnson pinned against the cage. Johnson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Both fighters circling a little - Juramba finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Juramba dives in and grabs Johnson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Johnson pushes down on Juramba's head and hops out.
Juramba moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Anthony Johnson has been cut.
Johnson misses with a takedown attempt - Juramba sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Johnson enables Juramba to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Johnson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Juramba looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Johnson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Juramba is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Johnson sees it coming and defends easily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Johnson is refusing to be controlled, as Juramba sits in half guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
