Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ken Robinson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Edgars Tambijevs!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Dirk Anderson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Robinson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Robinson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Robinson is pressing down on Tambijevs's thigh, looking to free his foot. Tambijevs is holding on for now.
Tambijevs has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Robinson is working away from the top position though.
Robinson is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Robinson looking for a guillotine from mount but Tambijevs is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tambijevs tries to lock up and control but Robinson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Robinson wants to take Tambijevs's back here but Tambijevs is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

Tambijevs can't escape the position.
Robinson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Robinson moves to take his opponent's back.
Robinson trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Tambijevs doesn't escape.

Robinson has the hooks in. Tambijevs is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Tambijevs is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Tambijevs is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Robinson gets his way!
You can see the frustration on Tambijevs's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Robinson has got one arm under Tambijevs's chin. This could be trouble... Tambijevs trying to control the other hand but Robinson gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Tambijevs has tapped out! The fight is over!

A less than humble Ken Robinson misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
