Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Petrucci (ranked 2951 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Campbell (ranked 3313 p4p, 0 weight class). Petrucci comes into the arena with Artificial Fear - Mako Reactor blaring out of the sound system. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

It looks like Jimmy Petrucci has been cut.
Petrucci could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Campbell lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Petrucci circles away quickly and effectively.
Campbell misses with a combination
and Petrucci counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Campbell is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Campbell throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Petrucci counters by moving into the clinch.

Petrucci's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Petrucci darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Petrucci is trying to work for a kimura but Campbell is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Petrucci wants to get back to his feet.
Petrucci seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Petrucci wants to pass the guard but Campbell is defending well.

Campbell is pressing down on Petrucci's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Campbell is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Petrucci has his hands clasped together but Campbell extends and breaks Petrucci's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Campbell.
