The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rourke lands with a straight right. Adams didn't see that one coming.
Rourke listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Nice uppercut lands for Rourke. That snapped Adams's head back.
Rourke lands a body shot.
Adams wants to clinch.
Rourke tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Adams was well out of range. Poor timing from Rourke.
Adams moves in looking to clinch but Rourke pushes him off.
A jab from Rourke finds it's way through Adams's defenses.

Adams feints and as Rourke raises his hands in defense, Adams changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Adams won't allow Rourke to get back to his feet.
Rourke is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Adams dives into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Adams thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Rourke wants to get back to his feet but Adams drags him back down.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rourke is looking to get back to his feet here but Adams is keeping cool and he's managed to take Rourke's back.

Adams has his arm under Rourke's chin here. Game over son! Adams squeezes tightly and Rourke is forced to tap out!
