Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jerome Winn (ranked 4157 p4p, 430 weight class) and Jordan Jackson (ranked 2465 p4p, 301 weight class). Winn comes to the cage accompanied by Coolio - Gangsta's Paradise. Jackson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Puff Daddy-Victory (ft. Notorious B.I.G & Busta Rhymes). Jerome Winn could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jordan Jackson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winn looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jackson stuffs the takedown.
And Jackson tries to counter it with a takedown but Winn pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Jackson shoots in for a double leg but Winn sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
An attempted straight right counter from Winn misses the target.
Jackson moves out of range as Winn strikes.
Winn connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Winn looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Winn bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Winn shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jackson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Winn with a poor takedown

and Jackson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Winn wants to get back to his feet but Jackson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Jackson lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Winn is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jackson is controlling him.
Winn on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Winn tries to get out of the position.

Winn thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Winn wants to take a breather but Jackson is having none of it.
Jackson has hold of Winn's hands but Winn slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Jerome Winn overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Winn throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Jackson tumbling to the canvas!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Winn is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Jackson flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Jackson is out cold! Winn holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jerome Winn!
