These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rolls shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hafizovic as he jumps to the side.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Hafizovic throws a good cross that connects.
Rolls tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hafizovic sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rolls somewhat.
Nice uppercut lands for Hafizovic. That snapped Rolls 's head back.
Hafizovic tries to clinch but Rolls moves out of range.
Rolls shoots in for a double leg but Hafizovic sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hafizovic was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Almedin Hafizovic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Rolls .

Rolls pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rolls fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Hafizovic throws a series of punches but Rolls avoids them all with ease.
A little jabbing left from Rolls on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rolls avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rolls .

Rolls shoots in for a takedown but Hafizovic shows good takedown defense.
Hafizovic swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Hafizovic tries to clinch up but Rolls circles away and keeps his distance.

Hafizovic leaves Rolls with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Hafizovic throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Rolls stumbling backwards into the cage! Rolls bounces back off the cage towards Hafizovic, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Hafizovic lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Hafizovic celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
