Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Test Fighter D (ranked 2463 p4p, 251 weight class) and Jon Black (ranked 4081 p4p, 350 weight class). Black has chosen Thug for Life as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Test Fighter D!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jon Black!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fighter D keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Fighter D lands with a nice body punch.
Fighter D moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Test Fighter D seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fighter D feints a jab promting Black to slip. Fighter D then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Black slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Fighter D definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Black leaves Fighter D with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Black with the counter takedown but Fighter D avoids it easily.
Black misses with a takedown attempt - Fighter D sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A decent looking cross lands there for Fighter D.

Black throws a lazy right hand but Fighter D sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fighter D sizes up Black with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Fighter D scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Fighter D tests Black's chin there with a solid looking shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fighter D connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Fighter D throws a one two combo.
Black closes the distance and clinches up with Fighter D, looking for a takedown. Black pushes Fighter D against the cage but Fighter D circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Test Fighter D has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Black.
A leg kick checked by Black.
Fighter D swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Black.
Fighter D lands a body shot.
Black tries for a takedown but Fighter D sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Fighter D shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Black is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Fighter D darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Fighter D lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Fighter D.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fighter D thuds a left hand into Black's body.
Fighter D lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Fighter D is working the combinations to good effect here.
Fighter D lands a jab to the head.
Fighter D tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Black manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Fighter D lands a jab to the nose.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Black shoots and misses
and Fighter D counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Fighter D uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Black looks for a takedown but Fighter D sprawls well.
A little feinted left hand from Fighter D on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Black misses with a looping left.
Fighter D connects with a jab.
A left lands for Fighter D.

Fighter D moves into the clinch.
Fighter D gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Black.
Black has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Fighter D is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Fighter D breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fighter D uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Black.
A jab from Fighter D does it's job there.
Black on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Fighter D closes the distance and clinches.

Fighter D's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Fighter D lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Fighter D lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Fighter D has Black up against the cage in a clinch.
Fighter D is pressed up against the cage. Black has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fighter D down to the mat. Fighter D avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Black misses with an uppercut.
Black has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
Fighter D connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Black throws a body kick that misses
and Fighter D counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Black circles away from the clinch attempt.
Fighter D lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Black backs up against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Black shoots in for a double leg but Fighter D sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Fighter D uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Black has time to react.
Fighter D scores with a sloppy right hand. Black should have avoided that one.


Black is rocked!
Black takes one to the side of the head.
Black is still on wobbly legs! Can Fighter D finish him?

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Black takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Fighter D pounces like a tiger and cracks Black with a vicious hook! Black is down but not out! Fighter D follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Test Fighter D!
