Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hasan Ribuvnik (ranked 5142 p4p, 385 weight class) and Jacob Menard (ranked 5474 p4p, 396 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ribuvnik might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Shantel - Disko Partizani. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Menard tries to close the distance and clinch but Ribuvnik swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Menard is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ribuvnik looks to land a left hand but Menard moved out of range nicely.

We've been hearing reports that Ribuvnik has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Ribuvnik is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Ribuvnik is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Menard is just riding it out for now. Ribuvnik eventually gives up the hold.

Ribuvnik dives in for a single leg takedown but Menard sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
