Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, D Man Sitsongrit!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lanson misses with an attempted mid kick.
We've been told by Lanson's head coaches at Tycoon Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Lanson darts in looking for a takedown but Sitsongrit gets double underhooks and turns Lanson into the cage.

Sitsongrit instigates a clinch.
Sitsongrit wants to take the fight to the mat but Lanson manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Sitsongrit escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lanson misses with a few strikes there.

Sitsongrit clinches with his opponent.
Sitsongrit has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Lanson after a bit of a struggle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lanson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Lanson gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Sitsongrit goes for a double leg but Lanson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Lanson continues to drive forward.

Lanson is pressed up against the cage. Sitsongrit has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lanson down to the mat. Lanson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Sitsongrit lands a head kick. Lanson smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sitsongrit can do anything to dispel that myth.

Lanson wants to take a breather but Sitsongrit manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Lanson.
Chris Lanson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sitsongrit manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Lanson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sitsongrit walks away with a smile on his face. Lanson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Sitsongrit changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Lanson fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Lanson.

Sitsongrit fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lanson, pushing him back against the cage.

Sitsongrit shoots in but no luck this time.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lanson doesn't manage to clinch there - Sitsongrit circles away.
Sitsongrit now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

D Man Sitsongrit comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Sitsongrit has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
