Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Dawson (ranked 1179 p4p, 144 weight class) and Randall Cobb (ranked 2132 p4p, 224 weight class). Dawson comes to the cage accompanied by Titanic theme. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
19 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Dawson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Randall Cobb!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Bruno Lombardi and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dawson tries to close the distance and clinch but Cobb swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A countering left hand to the body from Cobb misses.
Dawson wants to clinch up but Cobb keeps it at a distance.
Dawson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cobb manages to avoid it.
Dawson throws a predictable looking body shot
and Cobb counters with a straight right hand.
Cobb throws a jab but it's blocked by Dawson.
Dawson tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Cobb counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Dawson throws a right hand that misses
and Cobb counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Dawson thinking.
Cobb throws a shot to the body.
Dawson darts in trying to clinch
and Cobb counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Dawson closes the distance but Cobb moves to the side
and Cobb cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Dawson misses with a left hand
and Cobb cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

letting Cobb counter with a right hand.
Cobb feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Dawsons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cobb cracks Dawson with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Dawson looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Cobb finish him?
Dawson is rocked!
Dawson is aggressively charging in as Cobb backs up avoiding any damage. Cobb tosses out a jab and Dawson runs right into it face first! Dawson is out cold! Cobb dropped down on all fours and is barking in Dawson's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Randall Cobb!
Our winner, Randall Cobb, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
