The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halva doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Baba counters by clinching up.
Halva jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Baba walks away with a smile on his face. Halva gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
A head kick by Halva misses

and Baba holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Halva is trying to pull guard but Baba turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Thomas Baba has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Neits Halva.
Baba lands with a light punch inside.
Halva tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Halva goes for a takedown attempt but Baba pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Baba clinches up with Halva and pushes him back against the cage.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Baba.
Halva looks winded!
Halva takes a shot to the head.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Baba.

Halva is rocked!
A head punch blocked on the inside by Halva.
Halva is trying to drag Baba to the mat but Baba just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Baba scores with a hook to the body.
Baba unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Halva! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Baba is unloading with more strikes now! Halva drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
