Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Balagot Liu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Saul Hudson!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, John Mangel and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot lands for Liu.
Hudson shoots in and drives through. Liu sprawls well.
Saul Hudson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hudson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Liu swivels and escapes.
Liu looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Liu lands with a kick to the temple. Hudson shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Saul Hudson has been cut.
Hudson fails with the takedown.
Balagot Liu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Saul Hudson.
Hudson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Hudson is rocked!
Liu lands a nice shot to the body.
Hudson darts in looking for a takedown but Liu gets double underhooks and turns Hudson into the cage.
Hudson's coach down at Tycoon Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Hudson's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

and Liu counters with a nice leg kick.
Hudson looks winded!
Hudson with a lazy takedown attempt
and Liu counters with a huge left! Hudson is in big trouble! He's backing up but Liu isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Hudson from any more damage. A dominating finish by Liu!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Balagot Liu!
During a confident post fight interview, Balagot Liu thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
