Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nathaniel Allen (ranked 24976 p4p, 0 weight class) and Atsuro Nagashi (ranked 3733 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nathaniel Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Atsuro Nagashi!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nagashi.
As Nagashi tries to get set, Allen tries to push him back and clinch up but Nagashi manages to avoid the attempt.
Allen really is a fat lump.

Allen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Nagashi wants to control but Allen postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nagashi might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Allen haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Nagashi is looking for a sweep.

Allen stands up.
Nagashi jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Allen tries to counter by clinching up but Nagashi breaks away and moves out of range.
Nagashi misses the jab.
Atsuro Nagashi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nagashi scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Allen doesn't seem bothered though.
Nagashi loads up on a big right hand but Allen slips the punch.
Allen takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Nagashi lands a body shot.
Allen is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Nagashi lands a big shot that drops Allen! Can he finish him?


Allen is rocked!
Nagashi controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Oh Allen is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nagashi advances to half guard.
Nagashi moves into full mount! Allen won't be happy about that!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nagashi cracks Allen with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Atsuro Nagashi!
Atsuro Nagashi decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
