Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chip Chocolate (ranked 1044 p4p, 53 weight class) and Dwayne Boskins (ranked 1450 p4p, 68 weight class). Chocolate comes to the cage accompanied by Cookie Dance. Dwayne Boskins has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Chip Chocolate's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chip Chocolate!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dwayne Boskins!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chocolate misses the jab.
Boskins doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Chocolate throws a right hand that misses
and Boskins counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Boskins fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Chocolate gets a double leg takedown into Boskins's guard.
Chocolate trying to control but Boskins is working from the bottom.
Chocolate definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Chocolate with a flurry of punches that miss.
Chocolate missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Chocolate working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Boskins's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chocolate scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Boskins pulls Chocolate in close to prevent any damage.

Chocolate postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Chocolate pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Boskins is keeping the position for now.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Boskins is trying to control the position but Chocolate postures up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

and Boskins counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Boskins fails to land with a series of punches.
Boskins chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Chip Chocolate seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boskins takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Boskins tries to score with a low kick but Chocolate moves his leg out of the way.
A slow jab from Chocolate misses its intended target.

Chocolate gets the takedown into side control.

Boskins explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

and Boskins counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Chocolate lands a two punch combo.
Boskins displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Chocolate throws out the jab.
Boskins throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Chocolate is looking for a counter combo.
Boskins missing with a left hand there. Chocolate was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Chocolate slips a jab and a cross from Boskins.
Boskins is looking to slow Chocolate down with leg kicks.
Sloppy strikes from Boskins. Those never looked like landing.
Chocolate bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Boskins's head backwards.
Chocolate throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Chocolate lands a lovely overhand right.
Chocolate connects with a crisp jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Chocolate moves away from the strike by Boskins.

Boskins gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Chocolate to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Boskins pushes Chocolate off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Chocolate wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Boskins throws a hook to the side of Chocolate's head but Chocolate sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Chocolate stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Chocolate uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Boskins.
Boskins blocks a jab.
Boskins bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Chocolate's head backwards.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Chip Chocolate will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Chocolate avoids the head kick by Boskins.
Boskins takes one to the chin there.
Boskins misses with a wild combination.
Chocolate swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Chocolate tries to score a power double leg takedown but Boskins sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Chocolate somewhat.
A jab lands there for Chocolate.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boskins throws an overhand right that lands on Chocolate's shoulder, as Chocolate tries to avoid the shot.
Chocolate throws a body shot but no joy.
Boskins with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Boskins misses with a shot to the body
and Chocolate counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Chocolate lands with a right hand.
Dwayne Boskins is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Chocolate decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Boskins wants to improve his position but Chocolate is controlling well.
Chocolate winds up and cracks Boskins with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Chocolate scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Boskins felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Chocolate keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Boskins's head.
Chip Chocolate overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Chocolate prevents Boskins from getting back to his feet.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Chocolate has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Chocolate will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Chocolate shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Chocolate lands a glancing blow to the side of Boskins's head.

Chocolate uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Boskins.
Boskins is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chocolate.
Chocolate drops down looking for a counter takedown but Boskins sprawls and moves away.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Boskins enables Chocolate to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Boskins manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Chocolate stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Boskins swivels though and keeps the full guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Chocolate is in close to Boskins's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Boskins manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Chocolate manages to get himself to full guard.

Boskins throws an elbow that misses. Chocolate uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Boskins's guard. Nice move by Chocolate!

Chocolate stands up over Boskins, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Chocolate keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Boskins's head.
Boskins is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Boskins avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Chocolate engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Chocolate looking to sit in guard and control but Boskins gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Chocolate wants to control but Boskins is keeping busy.

Chocolate pulls Boskins in to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chip Chocolate showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Chocolate has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
