Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ryohei Horie (ranked 5068 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mukhammadgafur Gazimagomedov (ranked 25053 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horie throws a sloppy head kick

and Gazimagomedov counters by clinching up.
Gazimagomedov looking for a takedown.
Gazimagomedov can't get the takedown.
Horie lands a hook to the side of the head.

Gazimagomedov manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Gazimagomedov has Horie pulled in close to control his posture.

Gazimagomedov looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Horie in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Horie wants to stand but Gazimagomedov is controlling his posture from full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Horie drops back, looking for a kneebar! Gazimagomedov looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Gazimagomedov looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Gazimagomedov!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Horie is trying to get back to half guard.

Horie can't do much from the bottom here.
Horie tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gazimagomedov wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
A lull in the action here.
You can see the frustration on Horie's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Horie avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Gazimagomedov.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Gazimagomedov moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Gazimagomedov is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Horie knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Gazimagomedov is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Horie is trying to escape and Gazimagomedov transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Horie is forced to tap! Nice work there by Gazimagomedov! Very nice indeed!
