Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Wallace looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Wallace displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Andrews throws out the jab.
Andrews scores with a jab. Wallace acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Sloppy strikes from Andrews. Those never looked like landing.
Wallace tries to counter by clinching up but Andrews breaks away and moves out of range.
Andrews throws out a loose jab but Wallace uses good head movement to avoid it.
Wallace is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Andrews.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wallace shoots for a double leg takedown but Andrews sprawls well. He's pushed Wallace's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Andrews lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Wallace takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

and Wallace counters with a shoot takedown. Andrews fights it but they end up in guard.
Andrews really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wallace. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Wallace thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Wallace tries to counter with a takedown but Andrews is quick to defend against it.

Andrews lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wallace circles away quickly and effectively.
As Andrews tries to get set, Wallace tries to push him back and clinch up but Andrews manages to avoid the attempt.

Wallace has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Andrews finds it's way round the side to connect with Wallace's head.

Wallace moves in looking to clinch but Andrews pushes him off.
Wallace avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Wallace tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Andrews manages to circle out of the way.
Wallace looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Wallace takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Wallace is trying hard to land a takedown here. Andrews sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Andrews wants to control from the top but Wallace keeps moving.
Andrews is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Wallace is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Andrews is aware though and is defending well.

Wallace escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Andrews gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Andrews avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Andrews wanted to stand there but Wallace had control of the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Wallace had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Andrews defends it easily.

Jeremy Andrews showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Andrews fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Wallace on the side of the head.
Dillon Wallace has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Andrews has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
