The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Leahy drives through with a takedown into guard.

Leahy drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Leahy jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Leahy is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Haflidason can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Leahy controls the pace.
Leahy stands and throws Haflidason's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Leahy tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Leahy has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Leahy has an Americana. Haflidason didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Leahy is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Leahy hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
