The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones dives in and grabs Cupido's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cupido pushes down on Jones's head and hops out.

Jones forces Cupido back against the cage and clinches.
Cupido tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Jones's elbow.

and Jones counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Cupido! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!

Daniel Jones opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
