These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Shaw goes for a takedown attempt but Kent pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Kent really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kent gets underhooks to prevent Shaw's takedown attempt.
Kent is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Oh Kent is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kent has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Shaw pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Shaw is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Kent is in big trouble! Shaw is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Kent. Poor guy.

Kasey Shaw decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
