The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vikingur shoots for a double leg takedown but Burris sprawls well. He's pushed Vikingur's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Burris clinches up against the cage.
Burris's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Vikingur shoots in for a double leg but Burris sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Vikingur tries to score a power double leg takedown but Burris sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Vikingur somewhat.
Cody Burris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Haukur Vikingur.

Vikingur has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Burris avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Vikingur slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Burris.

Burris is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Vikingur has latched onto it... Big trouble! Vikingur pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Burris is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Vikingur!
