The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Smith lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Revarn has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Revarn and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Revarn looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Smith looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Smith shoots in and bounces Revarn off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Revarn wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Smith manages to pass to side control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smith slips a nice elbow through Revarn's hands, connecting with Revarn's forehead.

Smith is taking a breather. Revarn says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Smith gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Revarn tries to close the distance and clinch up but Smith swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Smith shoots for a double leg takedown but Revarn sprawls well. He's pushed Smith's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Revarn pushes Smith away with a front kick.

Revarn pushes Smith up against the cage in a clinch.
Revarn is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Smith is defending well for now.
With the fighters up against the cage, Smith throws an elbow but misses.

Smith turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Revarn wants to get back to his feet but Smith is dominant here and he's now got Revarn's back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Smith is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Revarn won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Smith off his unconscious opponent!
