Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lurifax Andersen (ranked 3288 p4p, 313 weight class) and Hits Hard (ranked 5885 p4p, 413 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lurifax Andersen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hits Hard!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hard lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Andersen circles away quickly and effectively.
Hard with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Hard has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Andersen is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Andersen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hard.
Hard shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Andersen as he avoids it easily.
An attempted straight right counter from Andersen misses the target.
Andersen's jab looks to have found its range, popping Hard under the eye.
Andersen connects with a crisp jab.
Hard throws a lazy head kick
and Andersen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Hard darts in and clinches Andersen up against the cage.
Hard takes a shot to the head.
Andersen is trying to break the clinch but Hard has him pressed against the cage.
Andersen lands with a short head shot on the inside.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hard manages to break the clinch.
Andersen digs a good hook to Hard's body.
Andersen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Hard looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Hard takes a jab right on the kisser.

It looks like Hits Hard has been cut.
Hard has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hard there as he acknowledges the shot.

Hard is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Andersen weaves into range and cracks Hard right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Hard goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Andersen is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lurifax Andersen!
