Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Prana Halo (ranked 19626 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krisko Kurtev (ranked 6231 p4p, 0 weight class). Krisko Kurtev told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kurtev fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Halo to the ground. Kurtev is now in Halo's guard.
Halo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kurtev doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Halo is tightening it up a little... Kurtev has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kurtev reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kurtev taps out! Nice BJJ there by Halo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Prana Halo!
After the fight, Prana Halo was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
