Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chrys Kyle (ranked 2016 p4p, 191 weight class) and Enzo Salvatore (ranked 1343 p4p, 157 weight class). Salvatore has chosen Reich mir die Hand as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chrys Kyle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Enzo Salvatore!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyle explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Kyle throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kyle thuds his right hand into Salvatore's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Salvatore darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Salvatore is working for a kimura but Kyle is defending it quite comfortably.
Kyle makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kyle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Salvatore trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Salvatore drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kyle looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kyle looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kyle!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Kyle tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Salvatore manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Kyle keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Salvatore tries to pass to full mount but Kyle defends it.
Kyle is not content to let Salvatore control the position.
Salvatore works his foot free and advances to mount.

Salvatore with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Salvatore fails to take his opponent's back.
Kyle has given up his back.
Kyle is trying to get back to his feet but Salvatore has full control of the position and if anything, Kyle has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Kyle defends a prolonged rear naked choke attempt and turns nicely into his opponent's guard.
Salvatore is trying to control the position but Kyle postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Chrys Kyle will probably get the nod.

Nice takedown defense from Kyle. No joy for Salvatore on that attempt.

Salvatore manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kyle on his heels. He'll look to pass Kyle's guard now, I'm sure.

Salvatore trying to keep a closed guard but Kyle is proving a slippery customer.
Kyle is looking to stand up but Salvatore won't let him.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Salvatore tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kyle wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Kyle wants to stand up but Salvatore has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Salvatore is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kyle's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kyle's back!
Salvatore wants to control but Kyle is keeping busy.

Salvatore is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Kyle is defending well though. Salvatore let's go of the attempt for now.

Kyle is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Kyle is trying to defend against the choke here but Salvatore has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Salvatore Tightens the hold and Kyle taps out furiously! Salvatore displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
